A natural way to better health.
Your brain, via your nervous system, controls and manages every single function and movement of your body, every single day of your life.
Your spinal bones provide protection for the spinal cord (a bundle of nerves), and allow you to move, bend, twist, etc. Injuries, poor posture, and life can cause those spinal bones to get out of alignment. When bones are misaligned, nerves are pinched and can't flow properly causing pain and other symptoms.
Gentle spinal adjustments, performed by Dr. Shane will realign those misplaced bones, and restore normal function to the nervous system.
Chiropractic can address injuries, and regular adjustments are preventative healthcare at it's best.
Why people choose NOT to get adjusted....
REASON 1: I'LL HAVE TO KEEP COMING FOREVER.
Chiropractic can also be helpful with specific areas of pain and you cna be treated on a short term basis to help you get out of pain And if that's what you want, you're very welcome to choose that! But another way of thinking about regular adjustments is to class them with vitamins, rest, exercise----all things you do on a regular basis and will continue to do regularly. Dr. Shane gets adjusted every single month, his wife gets adjusted 1x/week, she can't imagine getting adjusted less often, he can't imagine getting adjusted more frequently. At the end of the day, it's up to you how you want to benefit from adjustments.
REASON 2: I'M SCARED OF HAVING SOMEONE CRACK MY NECK.
While this fear is understandable, especially if you watch action movies, the truth is that adjustments to the neck are gentle and very safe. I have never personally, nor do I even know personally a doctor who has seriously hurt a patient because of an adjustment. Want to know a fascinating fact? Your GP here in CO (family doctor) pays about $10,000/year in malpractice insurance. Your chiropractor? $1000/year. Enough said.
REASON 3: I DON'T HAVE THE TIME.
We get it! You've got a busy life and that's why we'll get you out the door in 10-15 minutes, tops.
REASON 4: I DON'T HAVE ANY PAIN.
Starting chiropractic care when you are in good health is a preventative action that will save you time, money and discomfort in the future. Why wait until there is pain and likely some permanent, irreversible damage?
REASON 5: I GOT ADJUSTED ONCE AND IT HURT.
Again, I understand why that would be a deterrent. Each doctor is different, with different styles of adjusting. Dr. Shane's gentle style might work better with your body. And remember, just like when you begin a new workout routine, soreness occurs at first. Most people need at least a few adjustments before real relief shows up.
Did you know? Adjustments help prevent spinal arthritis.
When joints aren't moving properly, wear and tear is the natural result, and you can have ZERO symptoms! It's only after arthritis has progressed that does pain and stiffness begin to show up.
“The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest the patient in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”
- Thomas Edison
Getting adjusted is not only about relieving pain. It's about allowing your body to function at the highest level, so you can enjoy doing what you love most.
